Join Us for IBDdays, Tuesdays at the practice.  The Children’s IBD Center is pleased to announce IBDday at our practice.  Every Tuesday afternoon, the full care-giving team of the Children’s IBD Center is at the practice.  Families of children with IBD can schedule new patient, second opinion, or follow up appointments on Tuesday afternoons knowing that the Center’s full range of care and medical professionals will be available.

Nutritionist Erica Ilton is with us on the first Tuesday of each month from 1 – 2pm for informal discussions and group question and answer sessions.  She also conducts online group video chats once a month about nutrition.  Individual nutrition sessions with Erica are available by appointment.  (Erica can be contacted directly at 347-809-6789.) Individual social work sessions are also available by appointment.

Yuki Takahashi is a certified child Life specialist who is available on Tuesdays in the office waiting area. Yuki is also available to work individually with children to help them manage specific issues they may be having with their IBD, such as help swallowing pills, or support for blood tests or shots.
