Run the NYC Half for Team IBDkids
Kids with IBD (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) know about endurance – they’re in it for the long haul. There is no known cure for IBD and it can be tough on kids. You can help them with your commitment, toughness and endurance by joining Team IBDkids.
We have a very limited number of guaranteed entries in the New York City Half Marathon on March 17, 2013
How to Join Team IBDkids
We usually look for runners with a special connection to Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
- Runners who have the illness themselves or have a close family member with the illness
- Runners connected to an IBD family from their circle of friends, colleagues, firms or companies
- Runners who work in the medical or healthcare field with an interest in IBD or have a connection to Mount Sinai Medical Center
For an application to join Team IBDkids in the NYC Half 2012, please contact Tom Fitzsimmons at thomas.fitzsimmons@mssm.edu or 212-241-6727.
Already have a guaranteed spot in the NYC Half? You can still join Team IBDkids and help raise awareness and funds for children with IBD.
